The Home Tour is an annual event in the Historic District of our town, during which individual home owners "open" their home, or a portion of it, to the public. The event serves to promote the District as well as allow people to see what the older homes look like. It is quite well attended. We open only our foyer, living room and dining room, and highlight some of the architectural features of the early 1900s. People drop in, as they choose, during a two-three hour designated time slot on a Saturday afternoon. We decided to "dress" the part somewhat this year, as you can tell from the photo.
